- Confirm moving date with your movers
- Pack room by room, label every box
- Arrange pet/child care for moving day
- Defrost fridge 24 hours before
Moving Day
- Be ready when movers arrive — everything packed, pathways clear
- Do final walkthrough of every room and closet
- Read utility meters, take photos
- Direct movers at the new location
After the Move
- Unpack essentials box first
- Check utilities are working
- Update address with CRA
